And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. – Luke 5: 31-32 KJV
We have all been broken. Maybe so much that it feels like there’s no way you can be fixed. When we don’t have someone to talk to, someone who understands, we bottle up our trials and broken pieces until we feel like we can take no more.
I used to feel like no one understood, so I made it to where I couldn’t talk to anyone, not easily. But through loving guidance God showed me that He can be trusted and understands.
“Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.”
“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”
Psalm 62: 1-2; 8 NKJV
It all starts with talking to God, being open and honest. He will not hurt you. He understands and will repair your broken vessel Himself.
The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel! (Jeremiah 18: 1-6)
There is FREEDOM and HEALING when you finally open up to God.
He loves you greatly, never forget that.
